Pot Size: 2 litre (deep) Price: £18.00 Description: From our collections made at the early stages of our 2002 trek with Dan Hinkley near Chichina in Eastern Nepal, found growing at the edge of a dense almost vertical forest on rocks. Where their fleshy roots formed an enveloping dense carpet, with 4cm wide robust reddish upright stems to 1m (75cm in our garden) tall. With stem-sheathing broadly lanceolate foliage and congested terminal clusters of elongated seed capsules, which had succeeded the broad-lipped orchid-like successive white to palest lilac flowers, July-October. Easily grown in sun or shade in a humus-rich soil that is drained. Named for our grandson Chace Wynn-Jones.
