Which we collected the rounded blue-black fruit held in long pendant panicles, in the autumn of 2006. From a small well branched tree 10m tall growing at 1800m altitude, with large leathery leaves (30 × 7cm) deeply impressed with venation above held on bright red petioles. Best grown in shelter from freezing winds in full sun to light shade in a moisture retentive soil that has good drainage, hardiness unknown.
