Pot Size: 1 litre (deep) Price: £15.00 Description: A more or less tuberous deciduous succulent, forming tufts of erect-arching sword-shaped leaves, which are V shaped in cross section or deeply furrowed. The linear-lanceolate leaves to 45cm long, also bear a few teeth along their margins as well as being occasionally brown or green blotched. The slender lax scape can be a meter tall in cultivation topped by a pinkish bottle-brush like inflorescence July-September for us, although cited as being February to June in the wild. From seed we collected on the moist mountains to the east of Oaxaca southern Mexico in 2004 at around 2500m. Best grown in a free draining soil in sun. Not tested for hardiness.
