Found growing at the edge of lush jungle at around 2600m, where the shrubs formed a tall climber-like plants with long slender arching stems. Bearing opposite pairs of ovate leaves on short petioles, with incised venation, giving the leaves a slightly corrugated effect. With racemes of long slender tubed orange-red flowers with long slender flared petals, held on long slender peduncles. Availing a cascading effect. Best grown frost free in full sun to part shade, in a humus rich soil that is kept moist during the growing season.
