Description: Forming a thicket of shrubs 3m tall in the conditions away from the coast where we found this collection, on Chin Dõ an extraordinary island off the south coast of Korea in the autumn of 2010. The branches were clustered in its characteristic red white speckled fruit when we found it, speckling the small branches carrying the soft dusty green oblong leaves with silvery undersides. The fruit resulting from the scented long tubular creamy yellow flowers produced in April. Easily grown in a well drained fertile soil in full sun to part shade.
