Passiflora tarminiana - BSWJ16408

Pot Size: 2 litre (deep)
Price: £25.00
Description:
From a relatively modest sized plant which was adorning some small roadside trees on our way up to the Chingazá National Park, the massive water catchment area for the city of Bogota in Colombia, at 3100m in February 2024. A tendril climber with three-lobbed thin textured serrulate leaves, conspicuously veined carrying loads of long sausage-shaped pendant yellow fruit. Which were the result of single bright pink pendant flower held from most of the leaf axils, with bright green tubes and reflexed petals. Best grown in full sun in a well drained fertile soil capable of holding some moisture.
