With shortly stalked leaves 3-4 x pinnate 15-26 cm long composed of broadly ovate or rhombic leaflets. On glabrous stems 80-100 cm tall terminating in a paniculate inflorescence of white staminate flowers June-August. Easily grown in sun or part shade in a good fertile well drained soil that does not dry out.
