Pot Size: 1 litre (deep) Price: £25.00 Description: From an enchanting valley in the north-east, full of woodland treasures basking by the side of a river in moisture holding rich soil. Apart from the mass of Veratrum, there were two species of Ruscus sharing this valley. With R. hypoglossum taking up most of the upper valley near a waterfall, while this species grew mainly on the steep wooded areas lower down the valley. Here most of the plants attained 1m of height, covered in dark green ovate sharply pointed cladodes, complimented on the female plants with bright red round fruit. Easily grown in most types of soils, best in shade to part shade, quite drought tolerant, but grow better in a bit of moisture.
