Pot Size: 12 litre Price: £60.00 Description: A slightly higher altitudinal form of this species that is evergreen (in mild winters) in the wild, from the cool mountain of Séo Mí Tý in northern Vietnam in the autumn of 2010. Where it only formed a small tree with arching branches of serrulate acuminate ovate leaves, emerging fresh, glossy and bronze tinted in early spring not long after the upright short but wide panicles of white flowers emerge in March. Bearing terminal panicles of the largest fruit I have seen, orbicular lenticeled yellowish green turning reddish. Best grown in a fertile well drained soil with some moisture retention in full sun, protect from severe cold while young.
