Giving rise to distinctly non-hairy stems, bearing 6-8 oblong-lanceolate leaves on short petioles. Terminating in a panicle of starry yellow sometimes purple tined flowers May to July, followed by fleshy orange fruits. Height 40-90cm. Spread 45cm. Easily grown in partial shade and a moisture retentive but well drained soil.
