How do you describe the best? It is only an opinion after all, although we have seen more than most. An endemic to a tiny island of Ullüngdõ, 80km off the eastern coast of Korea. Where it covered the summit of the domineering extinct volcano, with chest-high trees in this most exposed position. A slow growing species exhibiting its outstanding autumnal coloration with sharply 11-13 lobed leaves. Easily grown in any good well drained soil in part shade to sun with shelter from drying winds.
