Description: A species of monkshood we found growing on open, well drained mountain sides, at around 3,100m on the Singalila Ridge, the border between Eastern Nepal and Northern Indian. Seed collected from plants 1.3m tall, with long terminal racemes of blue helmet-shaped flowers, and divided foliage. Easily grown in sun or part shade in any kind of drained soil. Keep roots cool or the plant goes dormant prematurely.
