Pot Size: 7.5 litre Price: £45.00 Description: From one of our collection made in the far north of Thailand on the slopes of Doi Phohom-Pok on the border with Burma in the winter of 1999. An evergreen species closely related to Hydrangea forming a small shrub to 2m high, in the wild, less in cultivation. With upright branches of narrow broadly elliptic thick textured leaves, bearing August-frost, dense terminal panicles of pale blue flowers with recurved petals, closely followed by bright-blue berries. Untried for hardiness keep out of cold winds, best grown in sun or light shade in a sheltered spot, or in a container.
