Description: Spreading perennial form slowly running underground rhizomes with short stems to 15cm tall bearing deeply cut delicate foliage and fully double powder blue flowers for a long time in spring. A wonderful low growing addition to the woodland spring flowering garden. Easily grown in full to part shade of woodland or shrubs in a soil that does not dry out. It is not unusual for the flowers to be single after disturbance, i.e. after potting or planting.
