Description: A fairly common site in South Korea, usually growing on cliffs or sunny well drained areas where this species forms colonies of laxly upright stems 15-30cm long, with alternate ovate-elongated and serrated thick fleshy leaves. With an abundance of terminal much branched cymes of yellow starry flowers born June-July. Easily grown in full sun to lightly shaded sites in a well drained soil. Our seed collection from Buk'ansan just north of Seoul, growing out of old fortress walls.
