With ovate-orbicular leaves to10cm long on red-pink stalks. Bearing in summer generous quantities of cup-shaped white fragrant flowers in congested panicles, followed by edible strawberry-flavoured ageing to yellow kiwi fruits, if pollinated. Named for our friend Shoko who helped us in South Korea with her husband Unchae. Easily grown in any fertile soil, best with the roots shaded and the top in sun.
