Pot Size: 2 litre (deep) Price: £25.00 Description: This collection was gathered from a small tendril climber with broad three-lobbed thick textured crenate leaves which were conspicuously veined. That had carried long pendant flowers which had opened pink, clambering over medium-sized shrubs, still bearing faded pale pink pendant flowers, which had been adorned with a frilly white centre and a narrow purple ring, with the petals held at almost right angles to the green tubes. With only a single resulting long sausage-shaped partly eaten fruit still held on. Found at 3,120m growing on our way down from Nevado de Santa Isabel, Tolima, Colombia, in February 2024. Best grown in full sun in a well drained fertile soil capable of holding some moisture.
