Passiflora tarminiana - BSWJ16430

Pot Size: 2 litre (deep)
Price: £25.00
Description:
A tendril climber with three-lobbed thin textured serrulate leaves, conspicuously veined carrying masses of long sausage-shaped pendant yellow fruit, sometimes referred to as the banana passion fruit. Which were the result of single widely opening pale pink pendant flowers held from most of the leaf axils, with bright green tubes and slightly reflexed petals. From a relatively luxurious plant which was adorning some tall roadside trees on our way up to Nevada Del Ruiz from the city of Manizales in Central Colombia, at 2,900m in February 2024. Best grown in full sun in a well drained fertile soil capable of holding some moisture.
