Description: A small species to about 1.5m tall in cultivation, with tiny toothed leaves on upright twiggy stems bearing a continuation of small bright pink tubular female flowers for several months, followed by dark red berries. From one of our seed collection made at high altitude, almost at the summit of Volcán Zunil Quetzaltenango in Guatemala at 3250m altitude. Can be cut back to the base, in severe cold, so protect the roots. Easily grown in sun or part shade in any good soil.
