Pot Size: 3 litre Price: £15.00 Description: A rare species in cultivation, a dramatic stout purple tinged perennial Umbelliferae from one of our seed collections gathered on Mount Seburi overlooking Fukuoka on Kyushu Island Japan during the winter of 2015. Attaining a height of 80-150cm, having 3-5 clefted or parted leaves, below the purple compound umbels of flowers. Unusual in so much as it is long-lived forming offsets when happy, which flower after a year or two then depart, leaving its own offsets for the following years. Easily grown in part shade to lightly sunny position, in a drained organic soil.
