Pot Size: 8.5cm Price: £15.00 Description: A new species to cultivation, that is easily grown with upright broadly lanceolate glossy lightly spotted deep green foliage on long slender petioles, to a height of 70cm. Bearing a large number of small purple white tipped flowers in generous quantities at ground level, during the growing season, later season outdoors. A useful introduction from China by Pépinière des Avettes France, several years ago. Collected from the type locality in Leshan, Sichuan, China at about 700m. Best grown in a well drained soil in full to light shade out of freezing winds. Waterlogging will rot the plants, has survived -15C, but responds well to heat.
