Forming trees to 20m tall in the wild with luxurious ovate leaves 35cm long and nearly as wide. Bearing large cylindrical inflorescences of white trumpet-flowers heavily spotted purple, resulting in globose seed capsules. For a fertile soil in sun or part shade, suitable for pollarding for foliage effect.
