Selected for its narrower than normal leaves, to about 1cm wide, giving the whole shrub a willowy appearance. Also distinct in flower, in being extremely generous clothing all the upper leaf axils with highly scented staminate purple-red tipped flowers February to April, succeeded by blue-black fruit crowned by three styles. To 1m tall. Easily grown in any fertile soil, best in full to part shade protected from extreme cold winds. Drought and lime tolerant.
