Pot Size: 3 litre Price: £15.00 Description: A species we introduced into cultivation from our first expedition to Taiwan in 1992, from the old railway track at Alishan at around 2,200m. Where it formed a semi-woody perennial of lax zig-zagging much branched stems, bearing dark green thin textured kidney-shaped to ovate serrated leaves on often winged petioles, growing to a height of 1m, Spread 1.5m. Bearing short terminal spikes of good sized bluish-purple and spotted trumpet flowers, from mid-summer until frost, even through the winter for us when mild. Full sun-part shade in a drained retentive soil.
