Description:
Described as an extreme rarity, collected from the summit of Jinfoshan, China, growing in moss on a narrow shoulder of hard limestone amongst snow. By our friends from Far Reaches Farm in the north-west of USA. A tiny species to just 7cm tall with small evergreen thumbnail-sized leaves with small white flowers flushed purple. Followed by pale lavender fruit. It is expected to be amongst the hardiest of the genus. It has been reported that the collection site has subsequently been destroyed by development for eco-tourism.
